Indeed, so it is:
“This was because I wasn’t making the changes on the inside. I wasn’t aligning with what I wanted and why I wanted it. I didn’t feel confident in being accepted as the true me, which goes a lot deeper than just how I look.”
The hard part is though, to make those changes on the inside. The difficulty is that our daily logic and approach, don´t really apply in our inner landscape. The inner world is governed by totally different subconscious structures which are hard to come to terms with – you want to let go of them, but mostly they don´t want to let go of us.
To cut it short, – the most difficult thing is to make “changes” on the subconscious level, to introduce such a clear message onto it, so it can change its “story”.
For the last 5 years, I have read most of the books of Esther and Jerry Hicks studying them closely; yes, they say many good and valuable things, but – like many other writers on this issue – they never manage to say how to make this internal switch – how to align yourself with your subconscious by changing its program, in order to make it work for you and not against you.
To use affirmations is really of no avail. So what works really?…
What do you think?
A good thought,

Julien—Thank you so much for your comments. I love hearing from readers and so appreciate your taking the time to share. I would agree that making changes on the inside is typically not an instantaneous process. This is why my Love Yourself Lean and Sexy coaching program is a year. Making lasting changes on the inside takes time, dedication, and consistency. I would, however suggest that perhaps your belief that “daily logic and approach doesn’t apply to your inner landscape” is what may be tripping you up. Indeed, they are intimately connected and it is only when we take responsibility for and control over our daily logic and approach that the inner landscape changes. You do have power over your subconscious structures. But you have to step into the role of the alpha. Esther and Jerry Hicks have provided a number of processes which when applied can lead to an internal switch, and I personally use affirmations to great success in changing my beliefs. (I would encourage you to search for blogs I have written on how I have used them.) But they are all tools to be used to facilitate inner change. What are you looking for to make the change? What tools resonate with you? How willing and committed are you to take the consistent action needed? Only you have the answers for you. What will work for you is ultimately what you decide will work. Sending you lots of love, Hanna
