Sharing A Prosperity Blessing

One of the first things I do every morning is read inspirational emails from a number of my favorite teachers. Today, before I headed upstairs for my workout, I read Veronica Hay’s Prosperity Blessing, which was shared by Bob Proctor in his Insight of the Day.

Abundance and prosperity–which are indeed a part of optimal wellness–have been on my mind a lot lately, and this blessing captured how I woke up feeling. Since these are the wishes I have for you, I am sharing her wonderful words.

May you be blessed with an amazingly abundant day today!

May the clouds break and the heavens pour down upon you more joy, more love, more laughter and more money than you could have ever dreamed of.

May the sun shine its golden light of prosperity through every cell of your extraordinary body.

May you be cleansed today of any resistance or feelings of unworthiness that you may still be holding onto.

May your false illusions of doubt, fear and scarcity gently fall away like soft white feathers on a gentle breeze.

May you be willing, simply willing, to allow the Universe to shower you with miracles today.

May the Angels wrap you in their shining wings of opulence.

May the fairies deliver you to their pot of gold at the end of a majestic rainbow.

May your eyes shine with the glorious truth of who you really are and may that truth uplift others in your presence to their own inner knowing.

May your ears hear the sound of perfection ringing in your soul.

May you taste the deliciousness of every precious bite of life as your day unfolds moment by moment with amazing grace, heartfelt love and a bounty of magnificent money.

As this day ends, may you slumber wrapped in an exquisite blanket of enduring peace and profound gratitude.

And may the last words you speak today be Thank You!

On the Eve of the Year 2012

On the eve of the Year 2012, I wish for you much love, laughter, wellness, and wellbeing. May you be present to the adventure of right now, and delight in delving into each opportunity—even if others call them hardships, problems, or obstacles.

May you marvel at what you have and maintain your confidence in what you are becoming. My you tackle each endeavor with enthusiasm and eagerness—from washing dishes, to typing an email, to relaxing on vacation, to engaging in your truest passion.

May your mind be mostly engaged in reflecting on the good things that happen and all that you appreciate. And as you lay your head on your pillow each night, may you look forward to tomorrow with happy anticipation.

These things I also resolve for myself.

Happy New Year! May this be the year where you allow all your dreams to come true!

Together we can do it!

A Time of Abundance

No matter where you are or what’s going on in your life today, look for and acknowledge your abundance.

Even if it’s that you have an abundance of air to breathe, an abundance of love in your heart, or an abundance of being alive in this moment.

These are things that do not cost money and that nobody else can give you. They are there waiting for you to receive—and acknowledge.

The magic of acknowledging your abundance is that the longer you focus on it, the more abundance in your life that you are able to see.

Perhaps you have an abundance of family and friends, or an abundance of time in which to reflect, or an abundance of beauty to admire. You may have an abundance of laughter and excitement, or an abundance of peace and quiet. You may have an abundance of parties and commitments, or an abundance of freedom to live and do as you wish.

While money and gifts can be a part of abundance, there is so much more of life with which to fill our trays. It’s all there waiting for us to look for and allow ourselves to see and receive.

What abundance can you find in your life right now? No matter what it is, acknowledge it and let your heart overflow with appreciation.

Together we can do it!

Imagine Being Happy

What if we are meant to be happy and joyful, and to have passion for life? What if we are supposed to be relaxed, have fun, and laugh—a lot? What if the core of who we truly are is pure and exuberant love?

How closely does that resemble your life? What if you had the absolute power to make that your reality?

What would get in your way?

There are a lot of things that can block us from aligning with who we truly are. We may have been witness to and practiced the belief that “life is hard” for so long that we just can’t comprehend that something better is even possible. We may have listened so much to our gremlin—that false voice inside ourselves that tells us we’re not good enough—that we don’t even acknowledge or reach for our true potential. We may have listened to the so-called “experts” who told us that our dreams just aren’t possible.

What if you alone held the key to unlocking each and every one of the chains that are holding you in place? What if that key was as simple as shifting your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs towards what you want instead of what you don’t?

Would you make creating the vibrant life of your dreams a priority? Would you look for any reason to love instead of hate? Would you look for, catalogue, and appreciate all the wonderful things that you have in your life right now? Would you look for the best in people, events, and situations?

What if all it takes to create a life that you love is loving the life that you have?

Would you do it? Would you be willing to let go of the struggle and fight? Would you be willing to look for the solutions instead of dwelling on the problems? Would you be willing to let yourself feel good?

Why not start right now?

Together we can do it!

Serious Fun!

“A good laugh overcomes more difficulties and dissipates more dark clouds than any other one thing.”

Laura Ingalls Wilder, Author

As I sat down to write this blog on the importance of having fun, my first thoughts were that I should focus on the health benefits of laughter, such as how it can lower stress hormones, boost the immune system, and can even reverse disease.

And then I realized that I was being serious about having fun. Doh!

I, like so many people, decided pretty early that life is serious. People seemed to take me seriously when I was serious, and as a result I became very intensely serious.

Whew. Just thinking about my seriousness makes my energy drop. Being overly serious is seriously no fun!

And just like relaxing, laughing, and having fun is really good for your body, mind, and spirit (I could quote some science, but how fun is that?), taking life too seriously has some serious impacts on the body.

So lighten up! Don’t just wait until the weekend to laugh and have fun. Play with your pets or kids. Spontaneously dance around the kitchen when you’re making dinner, or catch a funny movie with your favorite person. And most importantly, laugh at yourself when you’re taking life too seriously.

Beyond all the reasons it’s good for you, it just feels good.

Together we can do it!
