  1. Thank you for this. I noticed that so many people get so caught up in self-improvement (especially dieting) that they forget how wonderful they are right now.

    I like to think of it as dusting a treasure rather than making it better. You are a treasure as you are. Self-improvement is merely polishing what already exists.
