  1. Each winter I plant paper white bulbs in the house. It’s thrilling to watch them start to grow. I eagerly await the blossoms and the sweet scent that comes with the bloom, and one day they all just pop open and I have flowers in the starkness of winter. I think that’s a good analogy for what you have written about today. We can anticipate with joyful eagerness, our own blooming, our own becoming. . .
