Accountability

Accountability for December 22, 2011

After falling into the cookies, on December 20, I committed to being accountable through the New Year to you fabulous readers about my diet and exercise as I recover from surgery.

Day 3 of healthy eating! Was over my food plan by a small grapefruit, 4 olives (not in the same meal!), and 3 Gin-Gin ginger hard candies. Not perfect, but could have been much worse! Was able to wear my jeans for the first time yesterday, and was pleased that they fit just fine.

Almost forgot my last walk of the day (thanks David for reminding me) so I cut that one short. Fortunately I had bumped up my time and incline on the other three-doctor-prescribed walks, so I’m continue to do well on the exercise.

Another day of progress!

Have a goal on which you would like to be held accountable? Feel free to use the comment space on each of my accountability blogs, and I will cheer you on. Just let me know what your goal is, what you will be doing to meet it, and how often you will be reporting in.

  1. You’re doing great! I’ve fallen into the cookie pit but will climb out next week, I know. I did well to stay out of all holiday goodies until just this week. But I’ve been busy, busy so I think I worked it off. I say that now but am a little bit afraid to try on my new skinny jeans.

    • Thanks, Rhonda. Way to go on staying out of the holiday sweets until this week. That’s actually great! I saw the picture on Facebook of the cookies you made and they did look amazing. Congratulations on having new skinny jeans. I have every confidence that you will practice enough moderation that they will still fit!

  2. After the recent breach of mine I got additional weight and gain some more because of the season, aw I cannot wear my fave jeans and tops, thanks for sharing this post I will definitely go back again on my daily stretching….
