Choose a New You!

How many decisions do you make each day? The answer is probably a lot more than you are aware. Every moment of every day we are deciding where to put our attention and what action to take.

You may be deciding to keep driving your car because you haven’t reached your destination, yet. You may be deciding to stay on your current task, or jump to another. You are even deciding to keep reading this blog (I hope), or not!

When taken as a whole, many of the small decisions we make throughout the day can tip the scale towards wellness, or not. Do you eat a healthy breakfast, or skip it? Do you get angry at the driver that cut you off, or let it go? Do you ride the elevator, or take the stairs? Do you walk the couple of blocks to the café for lunch, or drive? Do you laugh at a situation, or take offense? Do you eat a cookie, or apple as a snack? Do you go out for a walk, or watch the TV? The list goes on and on.

It’s helpful to create a vision of where you want to go—really who you want to be—and then become more aware of all the tiny decisions you are making. It’s within your power to consistently choose to move towards the person you want to become, or to stay exactly as you are.

Together we can do it!
